Blatchford Orthopaedics, a leading provider of orthopaedic aids with over 130 years of experience, is now establishing its first clinic in Oslo. With a strong professional environment and 200 employees in Norway, the opening on 1 December 2025 marks an important step in the company's commitment to accessible and specialised treatment in the capital.

The new clinic will be a total supplier of orthopaedic aids with a focus on quality, innovation and patient-centred care. Services include prostheses, orthoses, insoles and special shoes, as well as rehabilitation provided by experienced professionals.

Our new clinic will have Norway's most advanced digital gait laboratory, equipped with SMARTSTEP® which uses sensor technology and motion analysis to provide detailed insights into the patient's movement.

This data helps our clinicians fine-tune each prosthesis and orthosis fitting, improving comfort, performance and long-term results.

We do not believe in quick fixes, but in thorough follow-up and interdisciplinary collaboration. Blatchford CEO Lars Henrik Østevold emphasises that the establishment of the clinic is a natural continuation of the company's vision to make orthopaedic expertise available to more people: "The Oslo clinic is an important step in our national initiative. In connection with the establishment, Blatchford Orthopaedics is now seeking skilled orthopaedic engineers and healthcare professionals with interdisciplinary and solid experience in the industry. The clinic will open on 1 December at Vitaminveien 1a in Storo. It will be available to both referred and private patients.
