Abena Christie’s journey began with a diagnosis of stage III sarcoma at just two years old, leading to an above‑knee amputation at age three. More than 30 years later, she reflects on her life not with limitation, but with empowerment. As a passionate solo traveller, dancer, and advocate for mobility freedom, Abena credits the Linx system with helping her walk boldly through the world.
With the Linx system, Abena experiences confidence in every step. Its adaptive terrain response allows her to move easily across rocks, cobblestones, slopes, ramps, and uneven ground without fear of falling. She can shift weight comfortably, stand with stability, and navigate daily life with ease. As a solo traveller who has visited 11 countries in four years, Linx has opened the world to her in ways she never imagined. Whether she’s climbing hills she once avoided, exploring new cities, or dancing with joy, Linx supports her independence and ambition.
