Chris and Denise Arthey

Chris and Denise Arthey are speakers, authors, and survivors whose lives changed forever during a motorcycle trip in Texas in 2008. A devastating collision with a drunk driver left them both with life‑changing injuries, including the loss of their left legs above the knee. What followed was a long journey of recovery, resilience, and rebuilding, a journey they now share openly to encourage others facing adversity.

With the Orion3 supporting their active lifestyle, Chris and Denise have regained the confidence to live fully again. Chris uses his knee for walking, DIY projects, and tackling uneven terrain with ease, while Denise relies on hers to stay active at school and enjoy gardening. They have also been instrumental in working with our R&D team, providing real‑world insight that helps shape both present and future product development. Together, they’ve rebuilt a life filled with purpose, adventure, and hope, and continue to inspire others through their book 'Highway 35' and their advocacy.
