Orion3 wearer

Ian Logue has been an amputee for more than 40 years following a motorbike accident. As an R&D Advocate, Ian works closely with our engineering teams, bringing decades of lived experience to the development of products for both the present and the future.

For Ian, the Orion3 represents freedom, the freedom to do what he wants, when he wants, without having to think about walking. Its intuitive stability, stance support, and water‑resistant design allow him to navigate slopes, cambers, cobblestones, and everyday environments with confidence. Combined with the EchelonER, he enjoys a natural, energy‑efficient stride that lets him focus on life, not limitations. From walking the dog through streams to getting back into canoeing, Ian embraces every opportunity with independence and ease.

I’m not disabled when I’ve got my prosthetic on, I’m disabled when I haven’t.
